My favorite casual jank deck now gets an upgrade to a Premium Modern Jank Deck.

The goal of the deck is to use the new Liquimetal Torque from Modern Horizons 2 (MH2) to effectively have 8 copies of Liquimetal Coating. The deck will turn cards into artifacts and destroy them with artifact removal. Originally the deck was much more of a medium stompy-midrange build however, due to the inclusion of Gorilla Shaman in MH2 the mox monkey making an aggressive start to destroy lands for a repeatable (1) mana is too good to miss.

Goyf getting the most bonuses from all of the card destruction, it is an easy include as the finisher. Jegantha is in the side board due to play experience. I play a list of Modern Mardu Pyromancer which has a similar curve and amount of lands, however it will get flooded, especially against other midrange and control decks. In that deck, having cling to dust is a good way for card advantage while here opting for a 5/5 that gets around most modern removal seems like a good option while still being able to dredge Shenanigans the same turn you put it in hand.

The dream line up is; turn 1 ignoble hierarch, turn 2 Liquimetal and cast a 1 drop artifact destruction at the opponent's land. If turn 3 you have another artifact destruction card, hopefully this tempo loss will be enough to close the game.
