This deck does everything it can to put Liliana's Contract on the board and the use Arcane Adaptation to activate it as quickly as possible.

The goal here is to play very much like an aggro deck for the first few turns, then either Burn them out with aggro (unlikely) or turn on the combo for a win (with simple protection this is the likely wincon)

This deck has enough early-game creatures to concern a control deck and enough creatures to combat an aggro deck.

Honestly this most likely way an opponent will try to upset the combo is by instant speed killing creatures right before the trigger, which is why this deck has SEVERAL responses built in to combat that scenario.
