It wasn't a change I really wanted, but two things occurred: first off, I knew Grim Monolith would be eternities away for actually getting an honest to God foil version. Second, I had a friend who had some high-ticket cards stolen from his favorite deck, including Grim Monolith, so I traded him my copy for some sweet cards including a fetch land I didn't have. So, obviously the deck likes Grim Monolith and I'll be adding it back in soon, but for now I made the sacrifice for a friend. As for Lux Cannon, it was too slow without other untap shenanigans.
Replacing them... word on the street is that Paradox Engine is a pretty good card. Same goes for Top, I suppose.
