Need for speed Naya Zoo Pauper deck. This deck aims to fill the battlefield quickly and overwhelm your opponent before they can even get a toehold!
I'm trying to keep all cards costed at 2 mana or under if possible.
Comments, upvotes, and ideas welcome! I will also do my best to be courteous and check out your decks as well!
The Breakdown
Creatures:
One Drops
Goblin Bushwhacker - Quick play that can attack on the same turn it drops, especially threatening if I can cast it along with another creature. Two hasty critters that the opponent wasn't ready for can quickly rack up damage.
Kird Ape and Wild Nacatl - Two classic zoo favorites with insane value at only one mana. They can hit the board early and grow as you play your land, or come in already buffed up if the land is already on the field.
Two Drops
Burning-Tree Emissary - The newly pauper legal emissary allows us a solid body that can ramp us into having three or four threats on the board as soon as turn two.
Cerodon Yearling - Being able to attack immediately, then follow up as a blocker on your opponent's next turn make this a worthy inclusion into this build.
Garruk's Companion - Trampling two drop with above average valued power and toughness to push the damage through.
Spells and Enchantments:
One Drops
Brute Force - A surprise addition of three extra damage that can be cast on an unblocked creature once blockers are declared. In a pinch, it's addition of +3 toughness could also be used to save a creature from being sent to the graveyard.
Shelter - Protection for a variety of situations, spells or creature threats of any type, plus allows you to draw a card in a deck that is so fast that your hand can easily be emptied.
Lightning Bolt - This old common mainstay has too many uses not to be included. Whether it's three to your opponent's face or frying up an annoying critter, you'll always be happy to draw this.
Rancor - Another famous value card. It can transform a smaller creature into a beefed up trampling menace that needs answering, and even if your threat is taken off the board, you can recast this again on another body.
Two Drops
Manamorphose - Along with Burning-Tree Emissary , this card will not only allow you to push out ahead of the curve to overwhelm your opponent quickly, but it also refills your hand.
Nylea's Presence - Another draw spell, this enchantment helps me fix my mana, without having to include more lands that come in tapped.
