Licia's Life Total Manipulation

So here's your scenario. You're playing with your playgroup, each player is playing their normal combat damage or combo deck. But this has gotten boring for you so you decide to spice it up. Turn three hits and you cast Treasonous Ogre a turn early from ramping. The table looks at the ogre, then looks at you and thinks, "Ok, he might be able to make mana, but he's paying 3 life and killing himself so its fine."

Turn 4 comes.... you pay three life, then three more, and again. you've now paid three life 13 times and you're at one health. But as the table looks around in confusion, you slam Repay in Kind! The whole table is now set to the lowest life total, One, as you smile at the cancer you have caused!

You are now playing Licia's Silly Life Total Manipulation! The deck where your life total doesn't matter, as long as you are gaining more than everyone else.

Power Level

Licia is no high power commander, as can be seen by EDH ranking charts, but ill be damned if she isn't a fun commander. The deck can gain ridiculous amounts of life very quickly, making Licia very easy to cast no matter how many times she has hit the command zone. And then there are a multitude of ways to burn your own life total to either kill the table, or use it for resources before you heal back up. The power level is probably around a 7/10 with 10 being CEDH and 8-9 being combo. But if you are looking for a fun gimmicky deck, look no further.

Jank

Repay in Kind is one of the fun cards to play with. We have ways to lower life totals such as Treasonous Ogre, Master of Cruelties, Toxic Deluge, Necropotence, Necrologia and Doom Whisperer. This way we can get into position for a great cast on Repay in Kind. And if we happen to have Phyrexian Unlife in play, we can go under 0 life without losing, and cast a lethal Repay in Kind.

If Repay in Kind doesn't work, we have other funny shenanigans after lowering your own life and Children of Korlis as protection from losing large chunks of health.

If this doesn't work, there are the obvious combos of Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood, or Bolas's Citadel with Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top, or Necropotence to manipulate top deck and avoid lands.

Conclusion

This deck is not made to combo off. If you are a player who would rather hold a win con in hand to find the janky win instead, then this deck will be right up your alley. I hope you enjoy my brew!
