Here is my Edgar Markov decklist. I'm primarily aiming for an aggro playstyle, with a touch of counters and life gain. My playgroup is sick of seeing me play combo and/or control. Aggro is my weak spot (read as: I hate it) but, like many others, the C17 deck just lured me in. There's still a bit of control because what Mardu deck isn't the king of board control? Otherwise, I'm mostly looking to spend my turns turning bloodthirsty creatures sideways, and most combat seems to happen in the first strike phase. I want to avoid too much in the way of global pump effects (e.g. Coat of Arms), as my playgroup tends to play tribal (namely:dragons, goblins, elves, and slivers) and take would take advantage of it as well.

Suggestions and comments are most welcome!

Really looking for thoughts on where to trim and snip. Maybeboard is cards I'm considering in some way or another. I've made an update for Ixalan, plus some added changes based on playing the deck.

Currently Considering
Necropotence and Underworld Connections instead of Phyrexian Arena and ... something else.
