Lazav's Identity Crisis

Standard BUG (Sultai) Combo

buffalobill

So, this deck has a lot going on, but it all mainly revolves around Lazav, the Multifarious and some really fun synergy with Biomancer's Familiar. Biomancer's Familiar Makes Lazav's ability to turn himself into another creature cost less, so lazav can not only turn into other creatures for greatly reduced mana, but he can turn into creatures at interesting times for some really fun results. Crystalline Giant this card is super fun, at the beginning of combat, you can turn lazav into Crystalline Giant and get a counter, then before you declare attackers, you can have him become an Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath, but he will keep the counter, so now you have an Uro, but better. But we can take it a step farther and make it a copy of Questing Beast so your opponents can't chump it with a token,(Questing Beast can also be used as a haste enabler) then after no blockers are declared, make it Uro again. Normally this would all cost an exorbitant amount of mana and would not be a reasonable strategy, but with one Biomancer's Familiar out suddenly every time you morph him, it only costs you 1-2 mana, if you have a second one out, it will only ever cost you 1 mana to turn him into any creature in the deck.

Now to set all this up, we're going to need some cards in the graveyard, but also, to not die in before we get off the ground. So we are running four copies of Mire Triton, The Binding of the Titans, along side two copies of Tamiyo, Collector of Tales. These are great for putting all the pieces of the Lazav machine together, while also gaining you some life, digging for things you need, or reoccurring something you need from the graveyard.

Thought Erasure is a must have four of, getting into your opponents hand, scrying, and letting us potentially fill our graveyard is a great enabler for this deck.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as this is a homebrew that is currently still a work in progress, but I absolutely love how it came together.
