Kykar can go a lot of different ways, including

• Tokens: Going wide with Anointed Procession and Coat of Arms

• Instants that cost X, to use up any spirits when faced with a wrath, such as Comet Storm or Sphinx's Revelation.

• Other noncreature-spells-matters themed cards like Jeskai Ascendancy

• Creature-boosting enchantments like Glorious Anthem, which will also make a 1/1 when you cast it.

• Polymorph spirit tokens into powerful creatures like Stormtide Leviathan

• Infinite combos, typically involving Mana Echoes and Twilight Drover or Haze of Rage.

• Other combos, particularly Elsha of the Infinite with Proteus Staff. Note that the low creature count sets up the potential for Proteus Staff to re-arrange your library if it can't find a creature. When you do, you stack the deck with Battle Hymn, Mana Echoes, and your other combo pieces.

• Spirit Tribal - Mostly just Twilight Drover or Devouring Rage.

I've chosen to include a few cards from each theme to give a well-rounded deck. If you want to dive deeply into one of these themes, there are a few card suggestions in the maybeboard that might interest you. I like to keep my decks fairly budget (under $5 per card on average), but if you've got the scrilla then look up kykar on edhrec.com to see all of the non-budget obvious auto-includes such as Cyclonic Rift, Force of Will, Jeweled Lotus, and Smothering Tithe. Since this deck involves infinite combos, I feel that it's fair not to include any tutors. If you don't have that ethic in your play group, feel free to include Mystical Tutor and Enlightened Tutor to get your combo pieces faster.
