Emphasis on being tricky and tapping your dudes, and also not dying to boardwipes. Definitely open to more cards that make use of my untapped creatures and any combos I might have missed. Really looking to slim down the deck to focus on just a few things every game. At the moment, the focus is to curve out with Merfolk - 1-drop, 2-drop, Kumena - then start drawing cards until you hit an untapper. But the deck could probably use a better endgame.

At the moment not really leaning into any +1/+1 counter synergy except where it's very impactful, like Herald of the Secret Streams, because I'd rather tap Merfolk to draw cards. But cards for that strategy are in the maybeboard.

I think the deck could really use an infinite combo, but since I'm not running a ton of tutors and there's not much to do with Kumena himself, it seems like a bad idea to dilute the deck of merfolk + tap synergies. On the other hand it'd be very easy just to add Squirrel Nest to combo with Earthcraft , but there's not an easy way to find it.

Main wincons: Throne of the God-Pharaoh , Opposition makes everyone sad, combat damage with Herald of the Secret Streams, etc.?
