The purpose here was to create a mono black deck comprised of the following: 1.) Some power 2.) No infinite combos 3.) A less-frequently used path to victory

The goal of the deck is to use life as a resource for mana and card advantage, ultimately winning with Repay in Kind combos or life exchange shenanigans.

Repay in Kind Combos Lich + Repay in Kind Lich brings your life to 0 without losing, Repay brings everyone else down to 0

Necropotence + Repay in Kind + Vicious Rumors Drain your own life to 1 with Necropotence, bring everyone else to 1 with Repay, followed by Vicious Rumors to deal the remaining 1 damage. Hooded Blightfang or Mardu Shadowspear can also play the role of vicious rumors here.

If you are able to draw or tutor it, Boseiju, Who Shelters All is a way to protect Repay in Kind.

Life exchange cards such as Magus of the Mirror, Mirror Universe, and Soul Conduit serve as a way to survive/beat individual players if Repay is countered.

Playing the Deck - Basics 1.) Ramp out K’rrik as early as possible and abuse his mana abitily. 2.) Use Necropotence or the abundance of card advantage/tutors to find your win pieces. 3.) Library of Leng, Thought Vessel, and Reliquary Tower are included to maximize card advantage.
