Kroxa is the multiverse's worst Escape artist. He tries and he tries, but he just can't seem to truly escape his imprisonment, and the hole in his stomach will never be filled. (It turns out the real prison was emotional baggage all along!)

Meanwhile, the planeswalkers watch his attempts to Escape: their eyeballs melt and their brains turn to goo as Kroxa's brief emergences into the world of the living slowly strip away their ability to do anything before finally allowing them to die. Kroxa cultists speed the process on with a lovely array of torture devices.

The deck

It's like 8-Rack, but in singleton and only using The Rack-style effects that hit all opponents.

With all of them in play, an opponent with an empty hand will take 21 damage and lose 13 life on their upkeep. On my upkeep, if I have an empty hand, I take 4 damage and each opponent loses 2 life. Then, of course, each time Kroxa enters while an opponent is hellbent (or only has lands in hand, or doesn't have a nonland they're willing to discard) that opponent will lose 3 life.

The goal here is to have Kroxa keep entering the battlefield over and over and over without casting him for his Escape cost, emptying hands and churning out damage. Liliana, Defiant Necromancer's emblem or Lifeline can make Kroxa come back every single end step. (Note the lack of inclusion of Endless Whispers; while it would make Kroxa come back every end step, my opponents would almost certainly not ever give him back to me.) Add a myriad of reanimation effects for additional Kroxa ETBs.

Combos

Mesmeric Orb with Basalt Monolith is infinite self-mill. The inclusion of Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre means I can mill as much as I want. Syr Konrad, the Grim turns that into infinite damage, or it can be effectively used to "tutor" creatures to reanimate. (Due to randomness, this can't technically be shortcut.)

Nim Deathmantle with Ashnod's Altar and either Geralf's Messenger, Flayer of the Hatebound, or Murderous Redcap is infinite life loss/damage.
