If you're lucky to draw Gravebreaker Lamia, its ETB Entomb effect can let you search for an Incarnation (Anger, Wonder, Filth), a Flashback or Aftermath spell (Heaven / Earth, Roar of the Wurm, Seize the Day) or a creature with exile ability to draw cards (Runehorn Hellkite) or give your permanents indestructible (Soul of New Phyrexia).

With your commander Ikra on the battlefield, you can let the combat damage trigger and then activate Belbe's Armor to get a bunch of life. On defense, you can also use the armor to neuter an attacking creature or make your blocking/blocked creature survive combat.
