General Strategy

This is suopposed to be an colourless control deck. The hard thing in colourless control is to make sure that you are generating enough card advantage whilst controling. You do not have many boardwipes, whilst your ramp is in danger to artifact boardclears (That is why I am playing Darksteel Forge). Your Finisher Creatures are pretty strong though adn you have access to a variaty of good lands. That is why Kozilek, the Great Distortion is great as a commander for our strategy, because he is generating consistent card advantage, whilst being able to control especially noncreature decks a little.

Engines and Ramp

In colourless, most of our good engines, Finishers, and most important Kozilek, the Great Distortion as our Commander, are pretty expensive, so we are playing 20 Ramp Cards beside Ramp in Lands. Because our Commander Kozilek, the Great Distortion gives us Card advantage already, we do not have to play the worst clolourless card draw spells like Jayemdae Tome, but we are still playing medium engines like Tamiyo's Journal or Staff of Nin. As a control Deck our route to victory is still by card advantage.

Removal

To cover Removal, we have a lot of expensive permanent removal in colorless, like Spine of Ish Sah or Karn Liberated, but our early game kinda sucks. So we are playing cards like Spatial Distortion, Titan's Presence or Warping Wail, in case of some early threat. Titan's Presence might turn out to be inconsistent though. The few boardclears we have in Nevinyrral's Disk, Oblivion Stone and Perilous Vault are pretty good as well. Nevinyrral's Disk combos with Darksteel Forge (infinite Boardclears).

Ending the Game

Our Finishers can end the game pretty quickly, espeacially if protected by something like Lightning Greaves. Blightsteel Colossus, and the Eldrazi Titans Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Emrakul, the Promised End are our best ones, since they are all X for ones, pose a huge threat to End the game quickly and mostly protect themselves.
