Acquired the dungeon delve precon from last year's forgotten realms set, but though I put a lot of work into it, it was just never all that fun to play or play against.

Trying this new build that is kind of grown from the ashes of the precon using the The Initiative mechanic from the new D&D set as a more fun alternative to traditional dungeon delving.

Switched to Rilsa Rael, Kingpin from Sefris of the Hidden Ways after much internal debate, ultimately decided that a more aggro focus would allow for more fun interaction at the table and switching to two color adds a bit more consistency.

Love Ravenloft Adventurer and due to the coincidence that most of the good U/B initiative cretures are rogues added Mari, the Killing Quill for some rogue tribal, then added Etrata, the Silencer because if everything is going to be exiled with a hit counter anyway it's a great way to finish up a stubborn game.

The alt win con of Etrata, the Silencer kind of inspired the other major theme of the deck which is creature destruction (not exile, not bounce, just killing) and asymmetric board wipes (within reasonable budgetary constraints). This lead to the inclusion of Toxrill, the Corrosive to constantly wipe the opponent's board and adding in Sludge Monster on top just seemed fun.
