Kefnet and the Basics

Commander / EDH

suarkdivad

Maybeboard

As I've looked at Kefnet voltron style decks I've noticed two styles and I'm torn between them.

Stick Kefnet and then play draw/go. Only problem is playing responses reduces Kefnet's role as a blocker if I go below 7 cards. Then again as long as I keep my threat potential low and demonstrate an ability to respond at instant speed I might not always need him as a blocker.

Avoid using my hand and use permanents to control the board with somewhat staxy cards like Pendrell Mists and Overburden slowing my opponents down. The concern with this option is that players get frustrated with enchantments/artifacts that limit their game and I want to keep a low profile. For now this is the strategy I'm going with and I'll adjust as games play out.
