Keensight Mentor is probably the easiest Mono-White deck to pilot in pauper commander. In addition to the obvious +1/+1 counters and vigilance, the deck also works very well with several other white themes just sprinkled in. Thanks to these two things, it has a lot of promise for a beginner-friendly deck that does a great job of showing white's strengths and how they can all work together.

Combining flying or lifelink with growing, vigilant creatures gives you incredible defense against chip damage, fliers, and counterattacks. Meanwhile untap effects let you use the Mentor's ability multiple times per turn, growing your creatures even faster. A few protection spells can help you stave off a removal spell here and there. Tapping down enemy blockers helps you get in more chip damage without losing attackers to combat tricks.
