hello, i really like the idea of this deck, but when i use the "draw hand" button on the side i draw hands that are pretty slow in the early game and in my head i see this deck getting beaten pretty fast in the early game because many decks are based around hitting hard and fast! i see you have the 2 acceleration cards, i believe if you could somehow lower the amount of high CMC cards or add more acceleration then i would see this deck being much stronger

To be honest, it's not that slow. It's pretty common to have a few mana stones/acceleration early in the game. Plus, there are many untap effects to get more mana. I am consistently able to play the big cards/planeswalkers.

Also, lot of (infinite) combos to get a board advantage/win.

for sure! ive recently brought karn and a couple combo pieces into my kozilek deck for some more shenanigans and have been loving him so much i started checking out karn decks. this looks insane lol, super hyped to give it a go eventually!

I've been tuning this list for years. It's so rewarding to play. You find something new each game depending on your board state and opponents.

I've been in many directions, aggro with more eldrazis, even more combo with more draws like chromatic sphere, star and ichor. Staxier with many wipes, etc.

But I've managed to hit a well balanced list. It's my all time favourite commander.

The maybeboard is filled with things I tried, have to try or simply sideboard or pet cards depending on my meta and mood.

I like your Karn deck. I see you have mind's eye in the maybe pile. I run mind's eye in my Ulamog deck mainly because it combos well with geier reach and mikokro drawing a card for each player. I'm not much of a fan of the tron lands for the low chance of getting all 3 they're like running a basic. I'd put the tower of the magistrate which works with mycosynth lattice. Yavimaya cradle of growth to stop void mirror and nephalia academy to help against discard. Thran Turbine seems like a decent choice, it gives a lot of free activations of a bunch of cards in the deck and Karn himself. Just my advice though, I've been playing colorless a long time.

Everything you said is right and has been tested and played at some time. The Tron lands are in because of nostalgia. And of course, Nephalia Academy, Yavimaya and or Urborg/Wastes are way better. I put mind's eye out for testing purposes. It draws so much hate I was trying something more under the radar. Thran Turbine is awesome, with Urza's Saga and other stuff warranting an activation during the upkeep. I'll reflect my current build, without the"testing" stuff.

Sounds like you also went through all the trouble of testing a bunch of things out then. Nothing wrong with nostalgia cards, the deck still looks really strong as is. I just took my Karn deck apart because it was all over the place like you said yours ended up. I might give it another try with a lot more card draw than what I had in it.

Wow, that's one hell of a deck. I have not that much to suggest for more power, but you could definitely new Karn, Legacy Reforged.
