This deck takes advantage of the fact that Karlov counts the number of instances of lifegain rather than the amount of life being gained. Therefore I forgo big lifegain in favor of small, repeatable effects to fuel Karlov's exile engine. The most obvious one is giving lifelink to a bunch of tokens: each creature hitting would therefore be pumping Karlov. Campaign of Vengeance and True Conviction usually ensure the win when my army is big enough, but in a pinch Karlov can move from his chair and swing through Rogue's Passage to remind my opponents that Orzhov is the best guild.
