First try was an attempt to make a fun commander deck from Maralen of the Mornsong .

Fun, but changes the game too much. Novice players and those less confident in their decks will attempt to take out Maralen immediately, while more experienced / confident players will insta-tutor their combos and win the game in almost no time. Too much is dependent on how soon Maralen is brought in. Also, with everyone tutoring every turn, the game takes a lengthy amount of time, and not everyone is up for that.

When K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth came out, my thinking was to create a deck around him...turns out, Maralen had almost all of the same cards anyway. So now this is K'rrik's deck.
