My personal decklist for Kalamax, the Stormsire . The purpose of this deck is to be a heavy spellslinger that's fueled by Stormsire & his ability to copy our 33 different possible cards on everyone's turn. We're taking a pseudo-voltron tempo route where we are not making any tokens to build up my board state but rather are going to depend on the sheer power of spells to control the battlefield & wreck our opponents. While killing someone through commander damage is possible, you're mainly trying to wash everyone & everything with your removal spells that will be copied & tutor/draw your way into a combo.

This is aiming to be a fun EDH build where you can play with your friends for a good time, however, its still not budget scrub tier. You should win a fair amount of games if your playgroup isnt cEDH quality. Personally I use proxy OG duals which is why I included them to the decklist but if you're someone who doesnt use proxies, you'll need to find replacements for the Taiga , Volcanic Island , Tropical Island .

Game-ending Combos

Turnabout + Reiterate = infinite mana, finish with Expansion / Explosion , Soul's Fire or Chandra's Ignition with Stormsire on the board

Mana Geyser + Reiterate = infinite mana, finish with Expansion / Explosion , Soul's Fire or Chandra's Ignition with Stormsire on the board

Any fork spell card + any spell to target with fork + Kalamax, the Stormsire = Infinite counters, try to finish with Chandra's Ignition or Soul's Fire

Removed combos

Took out Ral, Storm Conduit because the 2-card combo was too cheesy. Put in if you want a easy win-con.

Frantic Search + bounce land + Nivix Guildmage = mass card draw/discard - finish with Mizzix's Mastery

Turnabout + Nivix Guildmage = infinite mana, finish with Stroke of Genius , Expansion / Explosion , Soul's Fire or Chandra's Ignition with Stormsire on the board
