Land (1)

A three-colour deck with a singular goal: Take 10+ turns in a row and win the game within that limit. It might be a little slow for a legacy combo engine, but it's an amazing deck to pilot!

"But hey, using these cards, you only get one turn and then you lose!" you say. The solution to this is the fact that the 'lose the game'- effect are triggered abilities. Therefore we can Stifle them, or end our turn using Sundial of the Infinite before the trigger resolves. When our new turn starts, the Sundial untaps and we can do it all over again.

The playset of Howling Mine is vital for the deck to function. A fifth of the deck consists of turn-taking cards, and drawing a new one every turn is very important too keep our opponent from interacting. Therefore we play playsets of Ponder and Brainstorm, to dig for combo pieces the first few turns. Once we get going with two or three mines in play, it's near impossible for the deck to fizzle.

So how do we win then? Snappy beatdown is defenitively a possibility, but a few solid wincons is never wrong. Sphinx's Tutelage is a finisher that ignores blockers, Swords to Plowshares and Teferi's Protection. I play a Jace's Erasure as well at the moment, in case of Nevermore, Duress or such.

Another reason for these choices is that they are tutorable by Enlightened Tutor, which is included mainly for fetching a Sundial of the Infinite or a Howling Mine.

The combo can start at turn 3 with a perfect hand, but is incredibly consistent at turn 4 comboing.

The Elixir of Immortality is there more as a failsafe, and I doubt I'll keep it in the deck as it evolves.

I'm quite unsure as to what to include in the sideboard. Spell Pierce, Flusterstorm or Surgical Extraction can be incredibly helpful vs Combo, while Pyroblast, Blood Moon and Abrade are better vs control. Some kind of bounce such as Echoing Truths would probably be useful too.

Let me know what you think!
