Previously I was running this deck with green. The synergy with Attune with Aether and Rogue Refiner was crazy... this is probably why both got banned. ... I've tried since then to work on something viable with this deck. ...

I think that I've finally came up with something good by adding white instead of green. I also tried it's grixis evil counter part in this other deck: Thopter's Fury.

So the idea is to get the old combo by playing Whirler Virtuoso while into play you already have at least 1-2 Decoction Module and/or Panharmonicon soon you will get an army of thopter. These mixed with the Reckless Fireweaver can deal tremendous damages. Everything else is to set things up.

For those that are mystified by the 23 lands, don't forget that Renegade Map is used as both land and artifact in this deck. It's almost the same as evolving wilds. And Treasure Map   help to fix the land / spell request ratio as well.

Karn, Scion of Urza is great in this deck with all the thopters around so it can either create huge construct or be a drawing machine.
