------------------------- OLD description -------------------------- Jeskai Prowess Monk Tribal - trying to stay on the monk theme as much as possible. It is still very much a work in progress, so any suggestions are more than welcome!

The deck tries not to make itself a target until it can finish off an opponent through its explosive prowess mechanics.

We'll hopefully deter people from attacking us with the threat of suddenly enlarging all of our monks - but we're putting in Ghostly Prison and Propaganda just to make sure everyone understands that the monks should be left alone.

To keep big threats off the table, we're bringing a lot of counterspells. The classic Counterspell and Negate but also Unwind and Rewind as those will allow us to keep the threat of prowess up. Throwing Render Silent in there as well because I love it and had it laying around.

We also get counterspells in the form of Ojutai's Command and Izzet Charm, but that's an added bonus. THe charms and command included for the sheer flexibility that they bring - on top of triggering prowess.

Our monks don't have that much in form of card-draw (except for Narset Transcendent of course), so it's about recycling and getting as much value out of every card we have.

We get a tonne of value already in the form of prowess, and prowess-like abilities such as Sage of the Inward Eye and Monastery Mentor - but having cards such as Myth Realized and Student of Ojutai allows us to more permanently gain from our spell-slinging.

To recycle our cards, we both have cards like Warden of the Eye that gives us our cards back and cards like Taigam, Ojutai Master which makes the cards cast themselves multiple times. In that way, we're sure to cast as many spells as possible - with our limited number of cards.
