Rielle is a great enabler to Izzet self discard. Its a deck type I've been toying with often but it seems to do best in casual formats because of the card pool it has access to and its ability to push value out of otherwise bad cards.

Strategy Rielle, the Everwise is a key component to the synergies in the deck as they allow us to gain extra value from the discard spells within the deck, they are a key centre piece and without them on board the deck will struggle.

Card draw This deck's main strategy is to push as much card draw value as possible Niv-Mizzet, Parun + The Locust God are one of the two outlets for the amount of card draw the deck can push in. Cards like Cathartic Reunion essentially let you draw 5 cards for 2 mana lets us cycle through the deck to reach the answers to the board we need or to push extra value from discarding. We can also use Library of Leng to discard to the top of the deck to draw the cards without the extra cost of discarding wich can prevent any tricky situations where we need a specific card in hand. Because of the amount of card draw our hand size often goes above seven which is why thought vessel + reliquary tower + Nezhal, primal tide give us no maximum hand size so we have as much value as possible.

Discard
There are are a few cards that push pressure onto our opponents when we discard cards surly badgersaur + Glint-Horn Bucaneer + Brallin, skyshark raider are the creatures that add value to discard through their respective abilities, as these abilities dont seem too much of a threat by themselves they tend to stay on the board. Drake Haven is also another good token outlet that any spare mana can be used to create solid 2/2 flyers. Land's Edge is also a overlooked enchantment which with Rille on the board lets us deal 2 for free essentially.

Notes
Im considering running Laboratory Maniac + Thassa's Oracle as an extra wincon if we manage to draw our deck but for now im running Echo of Eons + Elixir of Immortality to prevent us from losing.
