Atraxa was my first deck I posted on here back when she was released in 2015's commander sets. We're back on her after buying a single collector booster and opening the Borderless Ichor Step-and-Compleat Foil of her.

This is my attempt at building a new style phyrexian infect deck.

The new additions to this theme from All will be One really kicked it into a viable style of construction. We used to have to rely on combat damage to mostly get the poison in with a few proliferate cards to round it out. With all the proliferation now available, we can get one or two counters on and proliferate out.

Getting those first counters are much easier with cards like card:Prologue to Phyresis and the like that just apply one to all our opponents.

An uptick in flying creatures with infect allows card:Concerted Effort to be a serious problem. It can take an okay boardstate to a lights out situation if we get it to stick at the right time. It will be in the maybe board for now and I'll rotate it in/out during my testing.

Toxic and Infect are applied differently, and as such, compound if one creature has both effects on it. Damage is being dealt allowing Toxic to trigger and the combat damage is replaced by infect. Example: 1/1 creature with Toxic 1 and Infect will apply 2 poison counters and deal 0 damage.

I'm sure I've missed something in my thought process here that I'll add later. I'll have to do some testing to see if we need more draw or a change in the ramp artifacts, but, for now I'm happy with this list.
