Meren EDH deck that has come a long way from the precon. At this point, the deck plays one of two ways: combo or attrition.

Combo usually comes turn 4 or 5 through Tooth and Nail entwined or Defense of the Heart to find Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion.

Attrition involves many moving pieces, being mana denial in Contamination (the reason for playing mana dorks over ramp spells) and reusing Strip Mine with Ramunap Excavator and Exploration, creature denial in Sheoldred, Whispering One, Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Magus of the Abyss, Merciless Executioner, and Fleshbag Marauder. All of the other cards help facilitate these strategies. The game ends from continuously reanimating Kokusho, the Evening Star and Gray Merchant of Asphodel or by grinding out with a sac outlet and Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat.

PSA: Protean Hulk needs to be rebanned.
