When you give your shambling little Darksteel Myr a hefty Darksteel Axe, your play group might scoff at your weak little 2/1 that cost you 6 mana to get going. You play Brass Squire, scan around your friends to see if anyone thinks you're a threat. The time comes to drop Worldslayer onto the field, you tap your Brass Squire to equip it onto the Darksteel Myr and crane your neck to gaze at Steve, who recently joined your playgroup. Steve has an enchantment on the board, Triskaidekaphobia. Next to his enchantment is where he keeps all his little vampires, but those vampires appear to be tapped out from his latest attack against Carl. Steve looks up from his phone, Carl begins to sweat, and Ricard starts piling his board into his graveyard. Steve asks Ricard what he's doing, but it's too late, all that will survive this living hell is Darksteel Myr, his axe, and his sword. Steve realizes that for the rest of the game, this Darksteel Myr is going to be beating in his face.

Steve came back a week later with 4 copies of Quicksand and made me cry.
