You should add some board wipe like Wrath of God or Supreme Verdict.

I am on the fence about that, I have Rift and Wash Out to return things to hand. More stuff to name w/ Isperia. I have End Hostilities, I may trade it for Verdict if I can acquire one. Still think there should be more than one 'destroy' wipe?

You should always have more then one bored wipe. Especially in blue white if something doesn't go your way and you can't counter it just wipe the whole bored.

I like always watching and aqueous form. Had a few feel bad moments where Isperia cant grt in on people and it feels bad. Whispersilk cloak might be a good card to consider shroud and unblockable. Plus white has tutors for it.

Propaganda and Norn's Annex would be decent additions to deter being attacked.

Trying to stay away from stax, my first choice of azorius commanders was Augustus, but only build ideas I could find was stax. Isperia seemed and proved to be a lot of fun. I was kinda thinking of fitting a small hugs theme as deterrence, just not sure. Right now its mostly.. Board wipe? Nope! Attacking? Bounce! Build a giant board state and swing kinda plan.

With all things though there is a space issue. I considered voltron seeing as my commander needs to attack to get its effect, just took away from everything else though. Thanks for the suggestions though, always appreciated.

I am just getting back into playing MtG Commander only, and I am not quite sure how to aid you in your deck building. Try Wall of Reverence for a Flying Wall that has minor shenanigans.

Made some changes, some of which may not be permanent depending on their performance.

In: Diluvian Primordial, Angelic Arbiter, Fumigate, Gravitational Shift, Archon of Redemption, Strionic Resonator, and Azorius Charm.

Out: Sphinx of the Final Word, Resolute Archangel, Polymorphist's Jest, Corrupted Conscience, Dungeon Geists, Borrowing 100,000 Arrows, and Dramatic Rescue

Thoughts? Any alternate suggestions? Let me know.

Nice deck my friend! Maybe you could throw in a Blazing Archon or Avacyn, Angel of Hope? High casting costs admittedly, but the pay off in benefits for you is incredible.

Maybe consider replacing Strionic Resonator with Battle Mastery. I know battle mastery being an aura makes it more vulnerable but on Isperia it does the same thing and let's you hit for 6. Or maybe Duelist heritage cause its good as well. Also how is dissipation field in this deck? I feel like whenever I run it people always attack me to get repeated ETBs but it seems good.

+1 from the EDH Show your Deck.

Try Curse of the Swine instead of Polymorphist's Jest; it removes creatures permanently. I would keep in Narset Transcendent as it's just a really good Planeswalker. Same with Mistmeadow Witch; the blinking can be hugely advantageous.

Scherezad what do you think could come out for Brisella? Or is it worth it even?

Sorry for the delay.I'd say that Mistmeadow Witch + Reflector Mage could get axed.

I think the replacements you are looking to make here make good sense, and definitely should go with them. Have you thought of throwing in Deadeye Navigator? Coastal Piracy would go well with your unblockable creatures, and Rhystic Study is good in any blue deck.

I like the build. I'm always a fan when a player tries to build around some of the lesser-used mechanics in the game, and an even bigger fan when it works!

Alrighty, choices saved.

If only deadeye had a lower cmc flying version lol. My curve is pretty high as it is. Brago/mistmeadow will have to fill it's shoes. Piracy does seem nice, may have to find a spot for it, as does Study, it's just finding space for it. The only card I am iffy on right now (post recent changes) is Gravitational Shift because it has a bad habit of benefiting others too.

Thanks for the assist. And to anyone else reading the changes in the update have been made so you will have to try and come up with something else. I got faith in ya's ;) Or if you have a different opinion about it, feel free.

Yes, Deadeye Navigator has a higher CMC, but its cost to activate its ability is lower, and if you pair it with the Peregrine Drake you have, you should be able to generate infinite mana. The Mistmeadow Witch is good, but it costs more to activate its ability, and it is restricted in that the creature doesn't return to play until the end of the turn. With the Navigator, the effect happens right away, and can happen again if you have enough mana, and you should with the Drake out.

I think you could pull Gravitational Shift for Deadeye Navigator, and also maybe pull Fog Bank for Coastal Piracy or Rhystic Study. Of the two, I think Coastal Piracy will be of more value in your deck, with the amount of creatures that will likely get damage through.

You do make a good point. Will have to look to see if I have an extra navigator kicking about. And then acquire Piracy....given the new set you'd think a reprint was in order ... lol. Not usually an infinite fan... but could be fun ;)

Well, you don't have to go infinite, but if you find yourself in a tight spot, and are looking for a win...

This looks like a good deck, I've always loved decks with a lot of flying creatures. If you are looking for more counterspells you could try Counterspell or Disallow.

+1 from me!

I love it, always enjoy finding a commander I've never seen played and make it work. It's won me a few, and is still fun even if it doesn't win. Thought I had CS in here... Will have to check again... Thanks for the plus :)

Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign has been a decent addition to my Isperia deck. Its card draw that you can easily tutor and its gives you some extra value off casting your commander.

September 6, 2017 1:05 a.m.

Gitaxian Probe Cantrip that also synergizes well with your commander.

December 14, 2017 11:58 a.m.

I like this a lot! It's giving me a bunch of ideas for my build. What are your thoughts on things like Lantern of Insight and Wizened Snitches? In theory it seems like it would be nice to also know what opponents are drawing and holding onto, but I'm not sure about how well it would actually work.

December 21, 2017 3:57 p.m.

Wizened Snitches seems too expensive at 4 cmc to me. I feel like Lantern of Insight could be good though. Who doesn't like 1 cmc cards that synergize with their commander? Searching in Gatherer has yielded some good results for cards like this. Glasses of Urza and Dakra Mystic are two that would work well I think.

JANKYARD_DOG says... #25

Snitches and Lantern do seem interesting. Mystic would be better if there were choices for each individual card rather than either/or for the batch. Glasses are already in the deck. Thanks for the suggestions :)
