This is a Big Red Variant that takes advantage of a bunch of high-powered creatures and planeswalkers to smack down the opponent. It's ramping namesake is Irencrag Feat, three of which are included, but the deck also gets mana boosts from Runaway Steamkin and Boros Locket, cards that also respectively offer an efficently priced beater and card advantage. Phoenix of Ash is included as a powerful mid-range option to begin the work of closing the game. Stonecoil Serpent is a versatile X creature that can block fliers and is protected from multi-color spells and effects. The adventure cards Merchant of the Vale and Bonecrusher giant are red spells that do double duty with Steamkin's counter-based ramping ability and offer looting and damage on their adventure components to boot. Ugin and Chandra are powerful planeswalkers that can deal with a variety of board states, Skarrgan Hellkite and Sarkhan offer plenty of flexibility depending on the board state and Terror of Mt. Velus and Drakuseth are powerful creatures that can decisively win the game. On top of all this, the lands Blast zone and Karn's Bastion can help clear the board or buff up counters on creatures and planeswalkers at the very low cost of 4 land slots.
