Trying to make a legacy competitive persist deck. I'm trying to make it a black and green only but if given enough of a reason I could be add color or change it up. Naturally Melira, Sylvok Outcast is at the center with a couple different ways to tutor her out. After she is out, things get wonky as stuff can be infinatly sacrificed to either give infinite mana, life points, or even directed damage depending on what is being sacrificed or who is even doing the sacrificing, some creatures could even be buffed to unimaginable size or scry as many times as I want for any specific card, or I could mill an entire deck in a round.

I'm trying to make this as competitive as possible, which means I need to be fast. I think best case scenario I could give a really decent turn three foot hold, in which a Carrion Feeder + Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Kitchen Finks gives way to a massive amount of health on turn three. After that Murderous Redcap or altar of damnation or buffing some creature for a crazy amount of damage would be the win condition.

I'm really looking for some good feedback on this. Other than lands, what could I add to this deck to make it better? I was thinking about putting in Birds of Paradise to help with some mana ramp, at least then it would give a better consistent turn three foothold, but I'm not really for sure. I'd also like to keep the casting cost low. I don't suppose there's any decent control I could splice in for green and black is there? Possibly some further tutoring?
