Hello! I would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to check out the deck! This is my pride and joy and I have spent countless hours and dollars turning my once casual deck into a prized possession. It means a lot to me that you are taking the time to look at the list! Before we dive into the card explanations, I'd like to share the brief story of the deck:

The inspiration for a UG Commander deck came from when I had a promo Prophet of Kruphix (May she rest in peace..) and Temple of Mystery from an older Clash Pack. Wanting to play the two cards so the world could see, I set about making the deck. It slowly grew more refined and it soon turned into a project for me. I wanted to make a very powerful, beautiful to look at, Commander deck. So began the foiling process...

Let's see the deck in detail!

Once again thank you so much for checking out the deck! I hope it inspires you to do some awesome things at your FLGS or kitchen table. If you love the deck, leaving a +1 or comment would mean the world to me. Have a great rest of the day!

Updates Add

Cuts were extremely difficult, but the few MDFCs I’ve been playing have always been absurd, so I’m upping their count here to test out higher numbers.

Turntimber Symbiosis  Flip and Sea Gate Restoration  Flip are the lowest inclusion cost and both are relevant to the deck’s gameplan.

Kazandu Mammoth  Flip provides another big inexpensive creature for Zegana.

Khalni Ambush  Flip seems decent as possible removal, especially with the Amonkhet gods.

Tangled Florahedron  Flip replaced Elvish Rejuvenator as cheaper ramp that is also more flexible.

Of note, Simic Growth Chamber has been re-added to the deck. I’m still not a huge fan of the Karoo lands, but I do believe there is some merit in “rebuying” a MDFC that was played as a land early, especially with Crop Rotation in the list!
