If you've been looking at my decks for while, you know that I love janky off meta build that have a high probability of failure, but are completely hilarious when they work. Case in point: All 3, Really? That's Overkill. If you are knew(er), I love janky off meta build that have a high probability of failure, but are completely hilarious when they work. I was coasting through interesting commander ideas and chanced upon Hallar, the Firefletcher . I knew that I had to make a deck out of him, because it offered me a rarely way of playing. I can have an actual deck(not a meme deck) and I wont get targeted from the get go(that belongs to a friend of mine who plays Purphoros, God of the Forge .

Premise of the Deck

At first glance, it might just seem like a simply creature deck. And you'd be right(kind of), albeit with some Experiment Kraj style cards in it(I also made a Kraj deck. Check it out here:He has Everything!!!). Then we get into the fun stuff. Cards like Hardened Scales / Pir, Imaginative Rascal + Loyal Guardian . Or Forgotten Ancient + Spike Breeder . There are a lot of fun things you can do with +1/+1 Counters and creatures that SHOULD die after just a little while.

This also happens to be the most budget deck I've ever made(that is competitive that is). This wasn't even intentional. Just $100 for an entire EDH deck that includes an actual mana base? I didn't think it was possible for that to happen and have the deck be actually a deck. For example: Kamerot and his EDH deck Om nom Trample. It is wonderful and kickass in evey regard, but the thing is $2,000! I don't think I could make a deck that expensive if I tried. On the other hand, there is a deck that does this soooo much better. Allow me in introduce you to Koopa326, and his deck Hallar, the Firefletcher Super Budget EDH. This deck is a work of art, $10 and yet somehow still functional. My deck might function slightly better, simply because I didn't hold myself to a budget, but that is still really damn impressive. Check him/her out!
