Silver-bordered cards are not tournament-legal and are not covered by the comprehensive rules. Usually silver-bordered cards are printed in the so called Un-sets:
  • Earl of Squirrel
  • Land Aid '04
  • Selfie Preservation
  • Squirrel Farm
  • Steel Squirrel
  • Commemorative sets are non-tournament-legal, gold-bordered sets that honor and celebrate certain sets or decks. I have included several cards from World Championship Decks:
  • Birds of Paradise:World Championships - Sydney 2002
  • Constant Mists:World Championships - Tokyo 1999
  • Dust Bowl:World Championships - Brussels 2000
  • Eternal Witness:World Championships - San Francisco 2004
  • Wasteland:World Championships - Tokyo 1999
  • Windswept Heath:World Championships - San Francisco 2004
  • The Convention Edition packs of the Mystery Booster contain a pretend "playtest card":
  • Generated Horizons: Land based mana ramp that I can sac.
  • Growth Charm: Rampant Growth, Giant Growth or Regrowth. Cost one more , but can cast at Instant speed.
  • Acorn Harvest
  • Chatter of the Squirrel
  • Chatterfang, Squirrel General
  • Chitterspitter
  • Deep Forest Hermit
  • Deranged Hermit
  • Druid's Call: Get punched, makes squirrels.
  • Earl of Squirrel: The reason this deck exists. Squirrellink needs to be thing!. A important line, "Creature tokens you control are Squirrels". So those 5/3 Elementals are not 5/3 Elemental SQUIRRELS!
  • Krosan Beast: This gets people out of no where. Good save after a board sweeper
  • Liege of the Hollows: This is a weird one. But with the right board state and mana up, this can completely change the game.
  • Nut Collector: This might be the worst lord in MTG. 6 for a 1/1...
  • Riptide Replicator: "Choose a color and a creature type", should read "You would be a fool not use this to make green squirrels."
  • Scurrid Colony: Soild Squirrel that can block fliers AND gets bigger when I play a lot of lands.
  • Squirrel Farm: Amazing repeatable Squirrel token generator. It also allows for some interesting politicking as you choose who see what cards in your hand.
  • Squirrel Mob
  • Squirrel Nest: Step right up! Tap the land, get a squirrel!
  • Squirrel Sovereign: New squirrel lord IS A SQUIRREL!
  • Squirrel Wrangler: This is an amazing card in this deck. Turn lands into more squirrels, or BIGGER squirrels.
  • Steel Squirrel: It's a playable 2 drop with the right type.
  • Toski, Bearer of Secrets: First Legendary SQUIRREL!!
  • Verdant Command
  • Buried Ruin
  • Constant Mists
  • Crop Rotation: Easily the best land tutor. Trade a Forest for any number of fun lands in this deck.
  • Crucible of Worlds
  • Elvish Reclaimer: Not only is he a Crop Rotation on a stick, but he gets buffed by lands in the bin.
  • Harrow: Cut down a tree to grow your forests.
  • Hickory Woodlot: It's literally a logging site.
  • Ramunap Excavator: It's a Crucible of Worlds that can block in a pitch.
  • Splendid Reclamation
  • World Shaper: A blocker that turns into a Splendid Reclamation when it dies.
  • Burgeoning: I choose this over Exploration, since I need to keep adding lands to my board.
  • Emerald Medallion
  • Growing Rites of Itlimoc  : Helps you find Creatures to play and flips into a better Gaea's Cradle.
  • Krosan Restorer
  • Land Aid '04: It's a worst Nature's Lore, but you need to sing to do it!
  • Nissa's Pilgrimage: A Better version of of Kodama's Reach
  • Oracle of Mul Daya: Double the land drop, double the fun. Plus can play them off the top.
  • Selfie Preservation: It's a worst Rampant Growth, but silver boarder.
  • Constant Mists: Repeatable Fog that works well with my commander
  • Heroic Intervention
  • First let's talk about the workhorse basic, Forest. I went with the full art from Unglued.
  • Buried Ruin: Useful for getting some a key artifact back after it gets blown up. Also sometimes brings a 5/3 body with it.
  • Command Beacon: Easy include for a Titania, Protector of Argoth edh deck. Great way to avoid late game commander tax.
  • Dust Bowl
  • Fabled Passage: A better version of Evolving Wilds or Terramorphic Expanse
  • Gaea's Cradle
  • Ghost Quarter
  • Hickory Woodlot: It can sacrifice itself and is on theme with the deck.
  • Karn's Bastion: What's better then having +1/+1 counters on all your creatures? Having MORE +1/+1 counters on all your creatures.
  • Lotus Field
  • Myriad Landscape
  • Oran-Rief, the Vastwood: Making my squirrel tokens bigger.
  • Petrified Field
  • Strip Mine
  • Swarmyard: Mostly used in Rat decks, but it is a Yavimaya Hollow for squirrels.
  • Windswept Heath
  • I play this deck with the following errata's. All of these are discussed with any playgroup before using them.

Nut Collector is now a 1/4

Squirrel Farm now reads: : Reveal a card from your hand to an opponent, then create a 1/1 green Squirrel creature token and put it on the battlefield under your control.

Steel Squirrel now reads: Whenever you roll a 4 or higher on a die, Steel Squirrel gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the result. : Roll a six-sided die.

I also play with one home-brew card: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ako-shaman-of-krosa
