Fires lets you make powerful tempo plays while generating resources with Theater of Horrors. Snapdax can mutate onto Murderous Rider or Lurrus to heal you (it becomes a 3/5 double strike life steal that hits an enemy for 4 while healing you 8 on mutate) while Luminous Broodmoth makes it very hard to clear your board--in fact, wrath effects only kill your broodmoth while reviving your entire board with flying (except Kroxa). One truly gross combo is Kroxa + Broodmoth + Lurrus, which triggers Kroxa up to 4 times per turn (With Moth + Lurris on the field, you play Kroxa, it dies, comes back due to the moth, dies again, is replayed for 2 by Lurrus, dies, comes back due to the moth, and dies again). This is incredibly unlikely however, and a much more likely scenario is you simply Moth + Kroxa for your two spells for the turn).
