Back on the Blood Moon plan —Jan. 25, 2018

Once again I'm trying out the shift from UW to RW. I probably didn't give it enough of a chance previously and I think the benefits of Blood Moon against decks like Tron will outweigh the penalties against cards such as Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. I believe it will help my Jeskai control matchup too (another particularly weak one) so hopefully it turns out to be true.

I've also made a few little tweaks here and there. Ghost Quarter has been dropped for now after the addition of Blood Moon and that allows an additional Plains in the main deck and trying out Sphere of Safety in the sideboard against decks with a singular big-threat (Eldrazi, Titan etc.). I have also dropped Peace of Mind from the board as I can't remember the last time I actually boarded it into the main deck.

Other small tweaks include adding a fourth Suppression Field (because I don't have a fourth Runed Halo, which I'd prefer to be a four-of) and adding a second Form of the Dragon now I can't shuffle a copy away from my hand with See Beyond. I'm also trying out Overwhelming Splendor as a tutor target after resolving Enduring Ideal to deal with threats already on the board, further shutting down my opponent.

Will see how it plays out.

@Funkydiscogod

Two great suggestions :D I have used the Rule of Law + Possibility Storm combo before in an EDH deck.

Axis of Mortality is an interesting new card, I'll give it a run out and see how it fares. It could provide a decent additional win condition if I can get down to negative life, but it could be a "win more" card as at 6 mana I'd hope to have sown the game up. However it might be worth it just to cast it against a Death's Shadow deck!
