Huntin' Monsters

Commander / EDH* BRGW

Ovanlight

Once there was a lad from Hays,

And to all of his friends's dismays,

He tried to play blue, the games went askew,

Now he's banished from all instant plays.

Alrighty ladies and gents, this deck is not to win the game early. It probably won't usually win until like turn 10 or so, but let me tell you, it's damn sturdy.

The main goal of the deck is to hit your opponents with big dumb creatures for damage and when that doesn't seem as feasible, you have ya boy Vial Smasher the Fierce to deal bits of damage as you go. I won't go through the mana base, mostly because it's self-explanatory, but it's worth noting that the deck still runs with more affordable lands. I just had the money at the time to go a little more all-out on this deck.

Let's start with our choice targets to deal damage with Vial Smasher the Fierce .

# Creatures:

So all of these creatures have abilities that really benefit the resiliency of the deck, except for Ghalta, Primal Hunger . His purpose is to be a really cheap source of 12 damage through Vial Smasher the Fierce . Zacama, Primal Calamity and Noxious Gearhulk are good sources of removal. Balefire Dragon is a one player board wipe on a stick. Soul of the Harvest is a great card draw engine for whenever we're casting creatures. Nothing super special, but definitely a strong amount of topdeck turnarounds in this deck.

THIS DESCRIPTION IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I AM LAZY
