This Deck is a modern competitive infinite combo deck. The deck's combo is Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Walking Ballista . Walking Ballista has the ability to remove a +1/+1 counter and deal 1 damage to target creature or player. Mikaeus gives Walking Ballista Undying, so that when the ballista dies, it comes back with a +1/+1 counter which you can then remove for 1 damage. This infinite loop is the deck's key combo. The goal of the deck is to get Mikaeus and Walking Ballista out at the same time. This deck uses Cathartic Reunion , Collective Brutality , Strategic Planning , and Contingency Plan , to dump either Mikaeus, the Unhallowed or Protean Hulk into our graveyard. We then reanimate them using Footsteps of the Goryo or Goryo's Vengeance . If we reanimate Protean Hulk We let it die, then use it's ability to fetch Mikaeus and Walking Ballista. (Walking Ballista has a CMC of 0) We can use Tolaria West to fetch a Ballista and we can use Dimir Machinations to fetch Footsteps.
