infinite life gain combo that involves using either Nomads en-Kor or Martyrdom redirection ability on Daru Spiritualist or Task Force to increase their toughness infinitely then use Sheltering Word or Predator's Rapport to gain infinite life. brand new pauper addition Tethmos High Priest here to recur Daru Spiritualist preferably by targeting him with Martyrdom and completing the combo. Since Daru Spiritualists ability works on any cleric you can target Clergy of the Holy Nimbus which is slightly more resistant to removal

I have seen some versions that are using black instead of green and using the cards Severed Strands and Devour Flesh and While i will admit that they have a much better finisher than green in Pestilence but strands is sorcery speed and both sacrifice your creature. Going White with a Green splash gives me 2 instant speed lifegains, an extra combo piece Martyrdom(where the deck got its name) as well as a finisher in Treefolk Umbra and some protection for the combo in Dawn Charm, Mana Tithe and Gods Willing.
