The Samurai were a highly distinguished and deeply honorable class of warrior. They served their lords until death. The code of honor that the samurai held themselves to was strict and unyielding. It was the samurai's way of life.

I really like samurai and find them interesting, which is the main reason I built this deck. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted the deck to be when I set out to build it. I did know that this deck was going to be more casual then most others. It kinda took shape as I added cards and what not. It wasn't supposed to be voltron when I started, but I liked all the pretty swords I was finding. Alright. Time to break down the deck.

Mana ramp is important in any commander deck. Mana ramp in white is hard. So I used artifacts to remedy the problem. Commander's Sphere , Dreamstone Hedron , Worn Powerstone , and Sol Ring are the basic mana ramping junk in here.

Armillary Sphere and Wayfarer's Bauble are here to tutor up the plains Caged Sun is my favorite way to mana ramp. This guy will make all your white lands tap for 2 mana. The +1/+1 doesn't hurt either.

Endless Horizons is nice. It helps streamline your draw step by chucking out every plains in the deck and then allowing you to add one back to your hand. Makes it easier to draw what you need and helps you avoid the times when you're drowning in mana and you don't have anything to do with it.

Extraplanar lens helps as well. Having that out and caged sun at the same time will make your plains tap for 3 white mana a piece.

Takeno, Samurai General helps power up the samurai with Bushido. Gives the commander +5/+5. Stuffy Doll works as a nuclear deterrant. Enchant it with Pariah or equip Pariah's Shield and your opponents can't hurt you at all. Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant stops all damage to your creatures. Works amazingly well with with Pariah or Pariah's Shield Masako the Humorless allows up to block with the tapped creatures. Helps add extra protection. Eight-and-a-Half-Tails adds additional protection from creatures.

You're going to be winning one of two ways.Throwing a bunch of equipment on a creature and using combat damage or stall out the game with your Pariah + Stuffy Doll combo and wait your opponents out. This method kinda requires your opponates to have a lot of draw power in their decks.

I personally think this deck is pretty good, but I might be a little biased. It's not half bad considering the price and the fact that samurai tribal kinda sucks. I wanna thank all the users who helped me hammer out the kinks. They're pretty neat.
