wanted to build a deck around Retaliator Griffin

What the deck does:

-Retaliator Griffin

-Protection

-Recursion

-damage redirection

-political

-unkillable

Gameplan:

-get Retaliator Griffin on board. use politics either by negotiating or through threats to make people attack you. give Retaliator Griffin lifelink. always hold mana up for protection spells.

-get commander out. give it lifelink. tell others that when they attack you that youll let them choose the target damage your commander has from Retaliator Griffin (no accountability).

-make all creatures have to attack each turn if able.

-protection, protection, protection.

-give Retaliator Griffin doublestrike and start killing :)

-if its a 1v1 Archon of Coronation will make it very hard for you to die.

-the deck does well when everyones fighting in the muck so if you have Realm Razer and youre in the lead you can cast it and win before they get the chance to remove it.

redirecting damage and or becoming immortal is my favorite thing to do in this game and this has become my favorite deck to do so.
