An adaptive combo deck that's able to play a longer value game using Tasigur or aggressively tutors for Vilis, Broker of Blood. With Vilis on board, the deck utilizes incidental lifeloss (IL) effects as extremely efficient card advantage. Through this overwhelming burst of card advantage, we are able to build our resources with mana positive spells and typically win the same turn Vilis comes on board. The main draw of the deck is that almost all of its IL effects are high quality cards even when Vilis is not on board. Examples include:

• Fetchlands (in combination with Shocklands)

The deck also plays two dedicated one-drop life sinks, which turn Vilis into a pseudo Yawgmoth's Bargain :

• Blood Celebrant

Win conditions are:

• Assembling infinite mana through Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal . With infinite mana, we can activate Tasigur's ability an arbitrary number of times, putting all nonland cards from our deck to our hand, as well as keep regrowing any nonland cards. This allows us to destroy all permanents on the opposing side with Assassin's Trophy , generate an infinite number of swan tokens with Swan Song by countering our own spells, use Noxious Revival to prevent decking and pass with a hand full of counterspells to win on our next attack step.
