The main goal of this deck is to Harmless Offering your Demonic Pact after you have used all of the good text on the card. To help this strategy succeed, I build a grixis control shell around it. This deck uses a snow mana base for cheap mana fixing and having the pleasure of a budget board wipe in Dead of Winter. Wishclaw Talisman is used to tutor up Harmless Offering at the end of the Demonic Pact's lifespan, but can also be used to trick your opponent as they don't know what you'll be tutoring for. In my opinion is a better option then the commonly used Dark Petition in this deck. Kess, Dissident Mage can protect your combo by having access to a previously used counterspells (such as Ionize and Drown in the Loch) and can provide consistent value if kept alive. The deck wants to win by turn 7 which means slamming the Demonic Pact down by turn 4 any later and the game could slip out of reach. Managing the board state till then spells victory. Alternatively Lochmere Serpent serves as a alternate win condition.
