Have you ever run headlong onto the battlefield? have you ever run headlong onto the battlefield whilst on FIRE? this deck is a little something i brewed up after playing some mardu at pre-release.
the idea is simple. you dash. then you play
outpost seige
and Purphoros, God of the Forge. then you dash again.
the curve is really janky. and the dash is odd since you will almost never have a creature stay on the field. you also spend all of your mana each turn on casting your dash creatures. but its pretty funny to pull off.
explanation time:
Foundry Street Denizen because every turn we are playing stuff.
Mardu Shadowspear dash plus some damage. why dont you just pour gasoline at this point. this card will be fun. careful about the black early on. its not always easy.
Mardu Scout 3 power on a 2 cost dash. this thing hurts.
Goblin Heelcutter its hard to get out a massive force when your creatures return to hand each turn. so your oponent will probably have more blockers than you have attackers some times. this card helps fix that.
Iroas, God of Victory dash creatures do not have high toughness. now that doesnt matter. your opponent has 3 blockers and you only have 2 attackers. no longer a problem.
paragorn of fierce defiance the fire burns hotter.
Purphoros, God of the Forge now everyone is a Mardu Shadowspear without even attacking.
Vaultbreaker this hurts, and card filtering is nice.
Mardu Ascendancy dash get goblin. double proc my man at the forge. rinse repeat.
Mardu Charm not sure what will be going on when i draw this card. but i know it will be useful no matter what that situation is.
