So my very first deck was an Orzhov deck, as some may remember. It was an ever changing deck with changing commanders, but in time I ended up taking it apart towards building different decks. Having pulled the showcase of Liesa, Forgotten Archangel at prerelease and playing with her however, I felt inspired to build Orzhov anew. Taking remnants from the original deck I built, as well as some new tricks, I have the starting point. As it is now, I expect it to be a bit lower powered than some of my other current decks, as other stronger pieces are in use and I wanted to keep proxies to a minimum here. But in time I hope to build up this deck to a higher level than the original, hopefully making it faster and more resilient. Liesa herself is a powerful recursion engine, and this deck also aims to use lifegain as a subtheme to make it harder to die from combat or burn while also charging towards the goal of wiping someone out with Aetherflux Reservoir or the good ol' fashioned Exquisite Blood combo.
