This is my revised Heal-iod, Sun-Crowned deck! After building my Torbran, Thane of Burns deck on TappedOut.net, I was overcome with a desire to build a new Heal-iod deck to counterpart it! This deck uses enchantments and board wipes to control and destroy!

HEAL-iod!

Heliod, Sun-Crowned is an awesome legendary creature! He buffs anyone when you heal in any way. My favorite EDH strategy is to kill with my commander. When Heliod buffs himself, there's no stopping this Indestructible God!

Healing

The cards I most look forward to playing are Archangel of Thune, Gisela, the Broken Blade, Mangara, the Diplomat, Resplendent Angel, Angel of Invention, Authority of the Consuls, Baneslayer Angel, Fiendslayer Paladin, Transcendent Master, Angelic Chorus, Ashes of the Abhorrent, Leonin Warleader, and my favorite and inspiration for the deck, Rhox Faithmender! These cards play off the Lifelink I need in the deck and provide the devotion to white Heliod, Sun-Crowned needs to become a creature!

Win-Triggers and Key Cards

Sometimes you get stalled out and can't win with the cards you have out, maybe your commander costs far too much mana for how little land you have. This is why I included some infamous win-triggers in the deck! We're healing a bunch so Felidar Sovereign and Celestial Convergence are a must. I also included Darksteel Reactor. Thanks to an abundance of health, even after board-wiping and running out of spells to cast, you can squat with this reactor and still win. Pariah and Pariah's Shield are uniquely special to this deck in that once attached to Heliod, losing life and losing is short of impossible without shroud or hexproof.
