Maybeboard

It's all about the hydras. The elves can be a powerhouse and can even steal a victory or two but it's the hydras that bring the fear to the table. Nothing like bringing out a 60/60 hydra for a measly 15 mana. Equipping a Mage Slayer to it and killing one opponent outright then Fling it in another's face. 2 opponents - 1 creature. The elves can provide a heavy amount of mana ramp as well as provide a decent defense and life gain. The deck tends to start a bit slow due to the amount of ramp needed. A Managorger or Phytohydra can provide early blocking and board presence while you build your army of elves. Awakening Zone & From Beyond serve as mana ramp and blockers if necessary. Especially after a board wipe. Doubling Season accelerates that ramp. Doubling Season with any of the hydras brings massive creatures out. Kalonian Hydra just makes the massive hydras that much more of a threat. The deck does suffer somewhat from excessive board wipes or huge flier armies but I'm not really sure how to address that. The deck is not a high power deck but is definitely fun to play.
