This is my budget Yawgmoth deck, still in the early stages. Any and all feedback is appreciated, so long as suggestions are budget-friendly (By which I mean no more than 10 dollars, and preferably under 5.).

How I Found Yawgmoth

I've been looking for a commander that really resonates with me and that I can build a fun and budget deck around. I thought I'd found mine with Obosh, the Preypiercer (Which, don't get me wrong, is still a super fun deck to play), but I eventually got bored when playtesting with the style of the deck: Combat. Damage, damage, damage. Then, I found Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. After reconsidering him and watching a few Deck Tech videos, I realized just how powerful he could be. Using the Commander's Quarters Yawgmoth deck tech and EDHREC suggestions as my starting point, I started crafting the deck to be my own. And I want to say, in playtesting (on my own) I've found some pretty good results with this particular build.

Playing the Deck

I've only playtested this deck a few times, but there are definitely pros and cons to it. Pros: the deck can go off pretty easily, and garners loads of value, plus, Yawgmoth is pretty handy as a 2/4 blocker and/or attacker. Also found that when tutoring things, there are many cards in the deck that are good for any situation, which is really nice. As for the cons...the deck can be a bit slow at times if you don't draw the right hand. If you start missing your land drops and don't have a sac outlet other than Yawgmoth, you start missing out on his benefits. Removal also tends to be lacking, especially if creatures have hexproof/shroud/protection--which renders his counters useless on those. I will be trying my best to improve the good things and fix the bad things, but this is still (and will always be) a work in progress.

Da Cool Combos!

Yagmoth, Thran Physician is a value engine, and we all know it. I won't say he's broken, because in my opinion, he's not that broken. Even on a budget, we have a few combos that can easily finish off our opponents, mainly two.

• Geralf's Messenger + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Undying creature. Can easily kill off opponents, and pretty hard to stop once it gets going. Basically, since -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters cancel out, we can sac and bring him back infinitely. (Until we run out of life, of course.)

• Blood Artist + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Two undying creatures. Will kill opponents and give us epic value.

• Genesis Chamber + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Two undying creatures. CREATES INFINITE MYR!!! Did I mention Yawgmoth = Value Town? It's a lovely place to be! >:D

Next section isn't infinite combos, but still fun/super annoying ones.

• Ob Nixilis Reignited + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician It makes life hard for the chosen opponent, and synergizes nicely with Yawgmoth.

• Ichor Rats + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician Play Ichor Rats, give all a poison counter. Then, proliferate as much as you can. Continue throughout other turns, kill all other players. Not the most fun way for your opponents to die, but definitely good for those games that go super long. Can also work if you swing for a lot and last minute cast a Tainted Strike.

Yawgmoth is just a really cool commander that does a lot of things. I love it. Thanks for reading my deck description, upvote and comment if you're feeling good and have the time. :D
