Hello there, and thanks for checking out my new and improved Hazezon Tamar deck! This is my first EDH deck that I ever built, so that means I keep tinkering with it any time a new set comes out. This deck has been in my arsenal for the last three years and it's still a work in progress. Any suggestions you may have, please throw them up! I love to discuss choices.

The goal of this deck is to get lands into play and then do one of four things. One, we boardwipe and cast Hazezon a few times, and then smash with 21-28 hasted 1/1's that are boosted by anthem effects or a timely Craterhoof Behemoth. Second, we cast Hazezon at the end of turn using things that make creatures or spells cast as instants then attack with 1/1's boosted by anthem effects. Third, we search out Purphoros, Impact Tremors, or Warstorm Surge and melt peoples' faces with creatures coming into play, or fourth, have food chain and Squee or Eternal Scourge and cast them a billion times to make a billion mana for casting creatures, cast Hazezon multiple times, and do it that way. Fun for everyone!

3 Mar 2020: This has been working really, really well, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Still, it needs to be upgraded with cards from War of the Spark, Throne of Eldraine, and Theros Beyond Death, so that's what I'm doing now. Making Hazezon uncounterable might help, so I'm throwing in a Cavern, Prowling Serpopard, and Rhythm of the Wild, as well as Heliod's Intervention because hey, killing X target artifacts and enchantments at instant speed is kind of a good thing.
