Maybeboard

Multiple Mumbling Muldrothas

I'm aiming for loads of Hapatra death sneks and a combat/combo finish after controling the board a little. It has been working out pretty well though I'm thinking I might toss in a little more protection to keep out the goonies a little longer.

This deck is aiming for 4 person mid/high games.

Pushing Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons out and getting some blockers. Ramp, protection, you get the picture.

Getting a large batch of sneks out by some global -1/-1, proliferate, or repeated effects.

Combos like: Soul Snuffers+Attrition

Black Market+Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons+Blowfly Infestation

Hopefully either get an winning combo out like:

Nest of Scarabs+Yawgmoth, Thran Physician+Obelisk Spider

or go for the combat win with cards like Triumph of the Hordes.

I like this deck because it's "choose your own adventure" like quality and it seems to be able to match what difficulty it needs to. That being said, it's card draw/late game is definitely lacking so shoot me a comment of what you think!

When you put the first -1/-1 counter on the Devoted Druid, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons will trigger. If you wait until it resolves giving a 1/1 token, then the combo works.

When you put the second -1/-1 counter on Devoted Druid, the Hapatra's ability will trigger (but not yet go on the stack). SBEs will check and see a creature with 0 toughness and put it in the graveyard. The creature had a -1/-1 counter on it (actually two), so now Blowfly Infestation will trigger. Once SBEs are done checking, the triggers go on the stack. Since there are two of them and you get to choose which order they go on the stack.

If the first 1/1 token is in play, you can stack the Hapatra trigger on top and target that other 1/1 with the Blowfly Infestation. Then you will get a new 1/1 when the first trigger resolves. When the second one resolves it will put a -1/-1 counter on the old 1/1 token and the whole process will start again.
