The General Strategy

The idea of this deck is for casual play but with a tuned feel. It doesn't have expensive lands, its weak late game, hates board wipes but has some good recursion and protection - but hey its just a casual deck remember! If you get a chance, why not sac 5 snake boys and make Ormendahl, Profane Prince Ormendahl, Profane Prince  !?

Combo 1 - Blowfly pinger

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons + Blowfly Infestation + Zulaport Cutthroat or Obelisk Spider or Nest of Scarabs

Result: Infinite life loss. Infinite life gain. Infinite death triggers. Infinite ETB. Infinite LTB.
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield. Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons does not have summoning sickness. An additional 1 toughness creature is on the battlefield.
Steps:

• Deal combat damage with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons or somehow trigger a -1/-1.
• Place a -1/-1 counter on the 1 toughness creature using Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons ability, killing it and creating a 1/1 snake.
• Blowfly Infestation triggers, place the -1/-1 counter on the new snake.
• Each time the counter is placed, Obelisk Spider or Zulaport Cutthroat triggers, draining 1 life from opponents or Nest of Scarabs triggers making infinite creatures.
• Repeat / continue to place the -1/-1 counters on the newly created snakes.

Combo 2 - Infinite green mana + Infinite Snakes

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons + Devoted Druid + Ivy Lane Denizen

Result: Infinite Snakes and infinite green mana if Devoted Druid doesn't have summoning sickness.
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield, mana requires Devoted Druid doesn't have summoning sickness
Steps:

• Tap Devoted Druid - generate green mana + place -1/-1 on Devoted Druid which untaps.
• Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons triggers snake.
• Ivy Lane Denizen triggers - add +1/+1 to Devoted Druid
• Repeat

Combo 3 - Yawgmoth Pinger

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Nest of Scarabs or Ivy Lane Denizen + two 1/1's

Result: Cards for Life, or add death trigger (Zulaport Cutthroat or Obelisk Spider) for win if you have 20+ cards in library.
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield
Steps:

• Pay 1 life and sac first 1/1 to Yawgmoth, Thran Physician
• Place -1/-1 counter on second 1/1 and draw a card
• Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons triggers, creating snake token.
• Ivy Lane Denizen triggers, add the +1/+1 counter to snake token.
• Or Nest of Scarabs triggers creating a insect token
• Repeat with the now replaced 2x 1/1 tokens + add death trigger

Combo 4 - Scurry Oak squirrels

Ivy Lane Denizen + Scurry Oak

Result: Creates infinite squirrels. Paired with Yawgmoth, we have an amount of card draw equal to our life total.
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield
Steps: With Ivy Lane's Denizen in play, play Scurry Oak When Scurry Oak enters the battlefield, Ivy Lane's ability will trigger, adding a +1/+1 counter to target creature. Target Scurry Oak. Scurry Oak's ability will trigger, putting a 1/1 token into play. Ivy Lane's ability will trigger again, target Scurry Oak, and another token will enter the battlefield. You can repeat this process as many times as you like for infinite tokens and infinite power.

Combo 5 - Scurry Oak + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician

Scurry Oak + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician

Result: Draws equal to life total, with no other pieces needed. Goes properly infinite with Zulaport Cutthroat / Obelisk Spider.
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield
Steps: - This combo requires very specific timing: with Scurry Oak's "create a squirrel" trigger on the stack, use Yawgmoth to sacrifice a creature to put a -1/-1 counter on Scurry Oak until it’s a 0/1. Let the squirrel-creating trigger resolve, which will trigger Evolve due to the squirrel entering while Scurry Oak has 0 power. Let evolve resolve, which will trigger the "create a squirrel" ability, and repeat from the beginning.

Combo 6 - Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons + Devoted Druid + Quillspike

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons + Devoted Druid + Quillspike

Result: Infinite P/T Quillspike and Infinite Snake tokens .
Requires: All permanents on the battlefield
Steps: - Tap devoted druid place, then untap and place -1/-1 on druid. Spend mana to remove with Quillspike. Repeat.
